"Nice place to stay—would return! A short drive to Newport, so best for those who are okay with (or prefer) not being right in the middle of everything. The room was clean and comfortable, and there are some cool seating areas outside of the lobby. The front desk staff was very warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The curb appeal is not great and had us second guessing our booking, but the inside is a completely different story, and I got the impression the exterior is being renovated soon—don't let it scare you off! My only complaint is that the breakfast was subpar for a paid breakfast and the restaurant staff weren't great. The server wasn't very attentive and the staff stood around chatting about their favorite shots and cocktails the whole time we ate. The kitchen staff was playing music loudly that clashed with the music playing through the restaurant speakers. So definitely stay at the hotel but don't do the breakfast package—just go out for breakfast and you'll have a great stay!"

"Unfortunately, the room smelled like mildew and a dehumidifier was running. We had to open the windows to air it out but their were no screens so we couldn't leave them open. There was a large stain on the mattress cover; the shower floor was dirty and the light over the shower kept flashing every few seconds. We were only given 2 pillows, which were very small square shaped pillows. The "lobby" had a very strong, unpleasant smell. We made the best of it but overall, not a great experience. I wouldn't stay here again."

"I did not get the room I had booked and instead sent into a handicap room. I told the staffer at the front desk, who could care less and just told me no other rooms were available when in fact the hotel was not sold out and had plenty of rooms available. Very poor customer service. The Red Roof people thru out our trip have been hit an cold. Their corporate office could also care less."

"Room was clean and nice enough. However, all of the fitness room equipment was out of order. Cable on TV didn’t work for first two days. Hotel policy is to not do daily room cleaning and needs to be specifically requested. Was not aware of that when booking. Overall hotel could use some updating like new hallways carpeting or other aesthetics etc."

"Very nicely and recently renovated. Chandler was easy to deal with. The toilets both need some minor attention. The king bed en-suite seat is loose and in the other upstairs bathroom the water continues to run unless you jiggle the handle. But we enjoyed ourselves very much."
