"Super fun location, that made for a really fun 4th of July. Proximity to Fort Adams gave us the best vantage point for fireworks we could have had. House boat was very nicely made up for us, clean as could be. Comfortable bed, head was clean and functional. Water taxi was super convenient and easy to use, also allowed for awesome access to downtown Newport without needing to deal with cars or traffic. The Mill Street Inn was a unique spot with a great location, a few minutes walk to Bellevue or Thames Streets. Our room was more like a suite, had a separate living room and a bedroom. Amenities were great, and there was breakfast that you ordered the night before that they delivered at the time of your choosing. Staff couldn’t be friendlier, especially Lori who seemed to know everything about Newport as a lifelong resident. Would definitely go back!

Spent the weekend in Newport, on our way home from Boston. Hotel was conveniently located, but needed the car to get to town and restaurants. Room was clean and very spacious, perfect for family with little children. Breakfast was generous, eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, etc. and hot coffee. Cookies in the late afternoon. Staff was friendly and helpful in making dining recommendations I would stay here again and do recommend this property

We had a great stay here. It was perfect for the early risers we are and a 2 minute walk to the Easton beach. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for my daughter and I and so we had time to hang in the living room and enjoy a movie together but our own space to read and relax at night. No sharing a bathroom was a huge plus! lol The Cliff Walk and mansions were all in walking distance as well and we took full advantage of that. Quick weekend stay in Newport with the pups. Great location and overall experience. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone traveling with pets. One complaint would be that you can hear any movement in the rooms above you. We had someone who seemed to be doing laps in their room at 3am, so they was a bit frustrating.

Great little inn on a quiet peaceful street in Newport. Minutes from shops and restaurants on the main drag! Loved our room it was very clean and comfortable. Nice little patio on the back yard and free parking in the back. Just wish they had offered breakfast for the price. Tea and coffee was available though.

The property was beautifully maintained. Our room was so relaxing to stay in with the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The owners were amazing, kind, and so hospitable. The daily breakfast is so amazing and plentiful, and the afternoon wine and cheese is a great way to relax after a busy day. Centrally located inn, and parking on premise. Would definitely recommend to stay here. Looking forward to coming back to visit Newport again!
