"Lovely old inn. Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast and afternoon tea amazing, so much variety. Great location. Despite our room facing the main street, it was quiet. Loved it and hope to be back someday."

"Beautiful location 10-15 minutes from mansions and downtown. Hotel is simple but comfortable. They do operate as a wedding venue, so the first night we stayed it was a bit loud until 11pm (not an issue, but something to keep in mind if you're booking). Continental breakfast was appreciated. No heating controls in room, so it was either really warm or cold, which we thought was odd."

"Amenities were nice like the shuttle into town and bikes and overall property, but we booked a balcony room and they didn’t have one so we got a different room. They also shut the bike use down as we came during off season and that wasn’t noted anywhere. Some lights didn’t work properly in the room and the espresso machine was broken and no coffee machine."
