"If you love and appreciate history, you’ll enjoy this property. The main house, setting and views, in particular, are spectacular. It’s mainly used for wedding and group events and we could see why - the views from the main dining room are “Wow”. It’s doesn’t have an elevator which wasn’t a problem for us. Some of the later additions could have been more sensitive to the original house in terms of finishes and HVAC placement, but maybe that’s what was available at the time. Some updates could really make the building sing again. Our room was spotless. We thought it was very good value. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again. "
