Great location

House overall pretty dated, but in a great location near the heart of the city. The neighborhood was also quiet and beautiful. I would stay here again.

Awesome House

Awesome house located in the city, near enough you can get anywhere quick, but far enough away it doesn't feel like you're on top of other people. Would definitely come stay here again!

Great place to stay

The pictures are accurate. The decor is lovely. It was perfect for our small family, including our fur baby. Short distance from wonderful restaurants and entertainment. Safe neighborhood. I’d definitely stay in the bungalow again. Everything we needed was provided. Great communication with our host too. Highly recommend.

Cute place, great location

The location was in the city but felt residential and homey. House exactly like pictures. Such a charming place with everything we needed. Beds are memory foam, which my family likes but I do not. Not a ding on the house at all, just sharing for awareness. Thanks for having us, Allen!

Great location and host

The biggest amenity of this place is the location. Great neighborhood. Walkable to restaurants and a grocery store. Could access anything such as hiking and lakes in the Charlotte Metro within 30-40min of a drive. The place is small but nicely furnished. The kitchen had everything including spices for cooking. I think there is room for improvement in the bathroom. Everything was clean but the towels were very old and stained (not dirty just old). There were also ants in the bathroom due to the weather warming up. Regardless I’d stay here again! The host was also amazingly helpful and responsive when asked to provide a pack and play and high chair for our little one. It was a huge help in our travels!

Great location, property was a mixed bag

There were some good things about this stay - the location is great, the neighborhood was quiet, the beds were comfortable, sheets and towels were clean, kitchen well stocked, and the owner provided informative emails with all the information we needed. We knew the house would be older, and that was not a problem. However, there were things that should have been far better for the substantial price this ended up being (over 350). The one roll of toilet paper had somehow gotten wet on one side, and there were no replacements (unfortunately we didn't realize this until late at night). No facial tissues anywhere. The floor had several toenail clippings and pieces of dirt. The caulking around the tub was dirty and cracked, as was the soap ledge in the tub. The kitchen smelled like insecticide. Even the grass out front was overgrown, and there was a lawnmower sitting right beside the house. Not sure what's going on with this property...old is ok; not taking care of things beforehand to create a five-star experience for guests is not. With some TLC and more careful preparation for guests this place could have provided a pleasant stay.

We were disappointed in the state of this home. Broken blinds, missing areas of flooring, hot tub had gunk crusted on the sides. Location was good, but this house needs some serious work.

Great Little Bungalow

Small older home. Very clean. Beautiful neighborhood very close to downtown and great restaurants. Wonderful, accommodating host. Highly recommend!

Decent place but not very clean

My partner and I stayed here with one of my friends. The place was cute and seemed to be in a good area but it wasn't very clean. The host was nice but the hot tub had a weird film on the water and we ended up getting sick. from it.

Safety concerns

Pros- Definitely a beautiful neighborhood, upscale revitalization of the community. Pros- The king bed was comfortable, and the refrigerator is clean. If sufficient space for 3 people in the living room, and watch tv. Con’s- House was in disrepair on several levels, front porch was splintered wood, & railing was loose. Con’s- Inside was surface clean only , I would suggest keeping shoes or slippers on at all times. Con’s- I would not cook or use the appliances outside of the refrigerator, microwave, and tea pot. Dryer vent is clogged as you can tell at the exhaust vent outside and potentially at risk for fire. Con’s- Major concern NO SMOKE ALARMS in any rooms just one mounting ring where the smoke detector should be (hallway above 2nd bedroom door). EVERY WINDOW was locked down with builder grade screws. No way to know of a fire or a way to get out if there was a fire. ABSOLUTE fire safety hazard. I did email the owner prior to my review, I do not like to give a bad review ever. But the issues I have listed exceed the superficial things that previous renters have mentioned in reviews. As you read my review and continue to read the superficial items are all still there. Nothing I read has changed.

Amazing location!

We absolutely loved the location of this home. In a beautiful neighborhood, walkable to everything we wanted to do! We had an issue at check in but was resolved very quickly! Great communication with the host. We did not check out the garage space, so I cannot comment on the hot tub or that space. The house is definitely older, but we only spent time there to sleep so it worked fine for us.

Wonderful stay

One of the best air b&b for the price especially in charlotte my puppy loved the back yard. thank you so much for letting us barrow your drive way so we could get home. will definitely recommend to other friends and looking forward to future stays

Cozy Home

My stay was perfect. Home was very clean and cozy. You can definitely walk and exercise in the neighborhood its very quite and nice. Walking distance to a lot of stores. Loved the hot tub and game room. Host is definitely responds fast. We definitely will be back to book again.

Quiet and great location

Super quiet neighborhood, perfect place for us and our small dog to camp out for a few days. Grass could have been cut, which would have made it easier to clean up after the dog, but we managed. Didn't trust the fence so we kept him on the leash in the back yard. Slept great every night and was able to easily access downtown and suburbs/mountains from this location.

Cute house in nice neighborhood close to great nightlife.

Overall this spot was great. For some reason the hot tub had an error and wouldn’t heat up. Was really looking forward to the hot tub. The bed was extremely comfortable and Allen was great.

Not as advertised

This is definitely not a premium property as advertised. The house is a very small shotgun house and the game room is in the garage, which is not heated. The hot tub is also out there which was not in working order. The owner did apologize for the hot tub, not working and mentioned some thing about Not thinking about the Heat in the game room so it might be a New listing for them because he did seem like he was going to address that issue, But nevertheless, for our family vacation We are disappointed.
