The staff was very helpful and welcoming! The reservation, check in/check out process was easy and our room was spotless! This was our second time staying with them and if we’re ever traveling in the area, definitely will do again! The photos were the view from our room!

Cool hotel, rooms where nice only downside is our air conditioning didn’t work upon arrival all the way to our departure despite bringing it up to the front desk three times, usually I am pleased with Marriott but not this time disappointing.

Bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that the bathroom door would not latch, leaving us to place a nearby luggage rack against it to close completely. I imagine that housekeeping would never be aware of such a problem, so we reported it upon departing. Otherwise, this is a location convenient to downtown Charlotte, and we'd consider it on future visits.

Overall good experience but there was a few things that would’ve have made this hotel better. Mainly the shower tub wasn’t cleaned and the drain was full of old hair. The AC made a bang/clunk sound throughout the night. Staff was nice and the rest of the room was pretty clean. A little loud since it’s near the highway but other than that it’s not the worst experience.

A very unpleasant experience! AC unit in the hotel room suddenly started to make very “bang” loud noise every couple minutes in the night at 9pm. My older kid already fell deep asleep before the noise started and other younger kid tried to fall asleep but was unable to sleep because of the loud noise! It was very loud that suddenly sounded during quiet time which almost gave me heart attack every time it started. Went down to front desk to seek a quick solution but turned out to be unpleasant customer service - the person threw my problem to other person because he stated he had to serve other customer behind me and seemed to lose patience on my “complaint of the AC problem”. After a whole “maintenance check” offered by other person, the bang sound was still unfixable which the front desk finally offered a room change. We then had to move everything out of room during the night and woke up a deep sleep kid and carried a whole mess to another room. We all need a peaceful night and a decent rest while we are on travel and especially with small children. When there ‘s an unexpected issue during the stay, all we want is an acceptable customer service and a quick solution but unlike what I experienced here at Sheraton Charlotte Hotel!

I will not stay here again. The location was perfect but Marriot properties have gone done the hill. Maintence and details are lacking. The inside of the elevators had tape on the borders. It’s not just this Marriot. It’s the few properties I’ve recently stayed at. We are members of bonvoy but I am going to become loyalists at other clubs. Marriot should do better. The workers are always great though!

Staff was absolutely lovely! I was given the wrong room type and it sounded like an 18 wheeler was going to drive through the wall even on the 6th floor. Every elevator had signs informing people to push the button to use which was funny! It was pretty expensive for a middle of the road atmosphere.
