"The 1st room we were given was filthy, couch was covered with stains, bed skirt corner stained/wet (appeared to be where a dog relieved itself) blanket in a separate corner of the bed was stained and the toilet seat and bowl were visibly dirty. We were given another room immediately, the second was also dirty though not to the same extent. Before bed we opened the balcony door for fresh air air were overcome with the smell of marijuana which lingered long after closing the door. We checked our the follow day. The desk clerk apologized for the experience said that they were making moves to improve the hotel, new furniture has been ordered, and they were going to enforce the "no smoking" policy. Asked that we consider staying another time in 4-6 months. Also advised that since I had prepaid with a 3rd party a manager would need to handle the reimbursement. One of 3 managers was supposed to call and never did. I left similar information on their surveys. I attempted to obtain a refund from Expedia's website the day we checked out and noted that since it was beyond the window I would have to speak with the hotel. "
