"Very friendly staff, very clean room, perfect location"

"Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds."

"Great host, great stay"

"Nice and clean, very friendly staff is helpful and speaking English. Hotel feels fresh, location is convenient for travelling by, but not for exploring around. For the price it's an excellent hotel!"

"Hotel was clean and the room spacious, but I could not especially enjoy and relax, not sure why. I appreciated the coffee and thea in the room, the only amenities in the room The personal was not friendly -also not unfriendly, just kind of neutral. But I like when they are more friendly than not."

"Good hotel to spend a night! Great view, nice wine bar and good atmosphere!"

"All around great experience for the price. "

"Very clean and quiet, lots of space (especially the bathroom), excellent breakfast, parking, modern accommodations. Thanks!!"

"The location was beautiful and the rooms carefully curated. Lovely atmosphere and had an absolutely delightful breakfast. Nice tour of facility and taste of their wines. Overall, great experience!"

"We stayed 1 night. The hotel is clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful. You can park in front of the hotel for a fee. The breakfast was ok, too heavily on the carbs/sweets."

"This property is absolutely gorgeous. "

"Lovely rooms with delightful views to the river. Very clean hotel. Good breakfast choice added bonus is secure parking although it is 13e per night."

"Breakfast was wonderful. Our host was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great suggestions on places to visit. The location is very picturesque, away from roads and with great views of the landscape of vineyards. Highly recommended!"

"Although there was a fan, to get any airflow you had to open the window. This meant I was disturbed many times by the busy road. There was no information in the room about the area and had to ask for the Wi-Fi code."

"It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

"Excellent "

"Perfect for our pit stop en route home. Rooms were immaculate and a good night's sleep was had."

"Gorgeous place in an excellent location with the most fabulous caretaker, Lucie, who helped us so much. She prepared us a lovely breakfast and made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay."
