"Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was just right. Rooms were clean. Our room was in the main building and was very nicely decorated. The bathroom in our room could use a bit of maintenance (grout and chipping paint) and the exhaust fan did not work. The location of the property is perfect. You can easily walk to the many stores and restaurants on Main Street. The hotel restaurant was good. We eat there 3 times. One evening, we experienced slow service which did cause a bit of an inconvenience. I presume they were under staffed that night. On the plus side, everyone was hustling and pitching in. Management included, who was delivering meals to tables. Overall, I would stay here again"

"The unit was very comforatable and absolutely adorable! It is pictured and described perfectly. Amble room for both of us, bed was very comfortable, furnishings are perfect for the apartment. Thank you for allowing us to be there!"

"The property was beautiful and the house has great character. The rooftop patio was an incredible bonus. The kitchen was reasonably stocked with what we needed to do some light cooking. Most of all, the host, Paul, was very easy to work with and was easily accessible. We definitely recommend this property and will stay again in the future."

Private Beach, Water Views, Incredible Location!

"This place is a gem and was perfect for my family. We were 3 adult couples and found the home to be suitable to our needs. The kitchen was the central gathering spot and very well stocked for cooking meals together. The views of the water, outdoor spaces around the whole house, and walking distance to the beach made it so enjoyable. Each bedroom with en suite bathroom felt like their own suites, allowing for comfort and privacy. The location was quiet and private but a short drive to so much. Great bird watching and we also saw seals feeding from the deck (using our binoculars). The whole house was recently renovated and everything felt new. It was also very clean and nicely decorated. We had a few issues while there - check in was challenging because the lock boxes that hold the keys are not in good working order and we couldn’t get them open. It took many tries (in the pouring rain). After about an hour of trying and someone from Del Mar on the way to help, we finally made it inside. Del Mar was helpful and apologetic, stating they would provide a small refund for our troubles, but I’m not sure if they actually did that. The other big issue was the bed in the first floor bedroom - the frame was not put together properly and it caused the mattress to severely sag in the middle so the 2 people sleeping in there did not sleep that first night. Again, Del Mar was responsive and sent a technician out to fix it. We later found the pieces to the bed frame in a dresser drawer."
