"It’s an easy walk to Ocean Ave and the beach area. Staff were extremely friendly, which made the travel experience even better. Lots of dinning options in the area. I only rented a car for some of the days during my stay, so it was a perfect combination of relaxing staycation for some of the days, and venturing out on others. Instead of an older hotel with less amenities that charges the same price to be “beachfront,” I’d happily stay at the Huntley again which is a nicer option that’s just one more block away from the beach. As someone living on the east coast, that walking distance was nothing. In fact, I very much enjoyed the walk under LA weather! "

"Our family and friends have always chosen this hotel for when we head out to Universal Studios. Its close by, rooms are affordable, clean, close to different fast food restaurants. The camel and flamingo are great decorations, the pool and jacuzzi are always working and clean. We just miss the FREE ducks the kids use to live to get some when we visited. "

"Pleasantly surprised… Not as sketchy or claustrophobic as I thought it was going to be once I got there… The staff was really cute. The place was clean and everyone was nice and I felt safe. Is kind of weird how they charge you $35 just to park in a basic motel parking lot tho"
