"I have stayed here before but always had a room overlooking the car park. This time I was on the other side and unfortunately the constant road noise did not make for a good nights sleep. The telly was also not working in the room but by the time I noticed I was already ready for bed so left it until the morning to let staff know."

The facilities while not first rate offered value for the money spent, the bed was OK, the room was clean, and I felt secure. The location though in the center of town were pretty quiet and allowed for good sleep. The view from my room wasn't anything to write home about, but this was understandable. "Arriving around midnight after a long drive I was initially thankful there was someone there to open the door. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. My expectations were pretty low, all I wanted was a hot drink, a wash and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were no drink-making facilities, no towels, no pillows on the bed and only a dirty bar of soap with a previous guests whiskers stuck into it. I tried to use the room phone to contact reception but there were no instructions on how to...

"No smapoo to wash your hair. You can always buy some for a pound (but the vending machine was empty). Over the top of a KFC, which means a lot of mess and late noise. Loud music being played in cars in the early hours of the morning. If your a women on your own, you will porbably be frightened of the car park. Food there is average."
