Perfectly located for Windsor castle. Lovely and clean room with friendly staff. The decor is a little tired but we spent very little time in the room, beds comfy and clean, bathroom and bedroom clean, good strong shower and clean towels. Very reasonably priced. Wpuld stay again.

This is an interesting older inn. It's in a great location. However, it's tired and could really use an update for the price. Sheets and towels were clean but worn, peeling paint and windows that don't shut properly, and the mattress was comfortable but horribly stained which was exposed due to no fitted sheet on the bed.

The Harte & Garter is under major renovation -badly needed as the rooms and communal areas are very tired. I was upgraded to a bigger room which was much appreciated. It’s very convenient for shopping and dining out in Windsor, right opposite the castle.
