The bed was the softest, most comfortable night of sleep ever! The hotel is in the older styles of yesteryear and nostalgic times, and we really found it charming! We’d stay there again, in a minute!!

This is the affordable gem we've been looking for!! Other places in this price range are not this nice, clean, and well kept. The beds are super comfortable beds and here is plenty of space in the room. Praise the Lord we found this place!

We loved staying here. The staff were so friendly. The room was nice. The creek runs behind the hotel and they have chairs so you can sit and relax by the water. They even have rooms by the water. That had an ice machine and a soda machine.

This place is a fantastic find. No hassle, friendly staff. It's an older property that is well maintained. The room was amazingly clean. The floors are hardwood and ceramic tile, so there are no places for bugs or Bionics to hide. The water pressure in the show will blow the hair off your back :-). This will be my go-to place at Maggie Valley from now on.

It was an old school pull up to your door place. It had vintage tile in the bathroom, an electric wall heater and window a/c. Everything was clean and functioned well. There were rocking chairs outside your door and 2 fire pits with rocking chairs and a gazebo with benches out front. On the back side was a lovely creek with overlooking benches and a deck with grills and chairs overlooking the creek. Management was extremely friendly and helpful. They do not enter occupied rooms. You place your used towels etc outside denim the rocking chairs and they replace with clean ones. We put our out when we left for breakfast and they were replaced by the time we got back. The motel is also very conveniently located. They do have a few rooms in the back overlooking the creek as well. We will definitely stay again.

The room was just what I was looking for. A room that was clean and affordable. The bed was not my bed at home but, I expect that when I'm traveling. It makes you appreciate your bed at home. I was pleased with the accommodations.

Cost of the stay was on par with the condition of the room. Was a somewhat strong mildew odor. Tolerable but not pleasant. Mattress was hard as steel. Outdated furniture but it served its purpose. Air conditioner struggled to maintain cool room temp but it worked. Had to set thermostat on 65 to maintain about 71-72 degrees. Owner was extremely nice and accommodating. Nighttime was peaceful with nice rocking chairs to sit in just outside the room. Would I stay there again? Maybe, but not likely considering we only visit once a year.

5 star hotel

They were very nice there and we lobed the extra little details like ice cream social and they had rags for the motorcycles and the fire pits were great for night relaxing. Its older not updated, but clean and our beds were comfortable. We would stay again.

Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. Be sure to designate whether you was street front or creek side. Also be prepared for a 3% credit card charge. The most serious negative was the high step into the tub and the lack of grab bars. Bed linens were very good but the towels were like sand paper.

Clean, comfy, but thin walls.

Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. The place is dated, but we're fine with that. The heat worked great. The downside was that the walls must be thin as the room next door had the TV on all night long and we could hear it in our room. So, be aware that might happen.
