"We had a group of 10, and the property was spacious, beautiful, and perfectly functional for us. We were impressed with how accommodating, kind, and responsive the hosts were. All of our questions were answered quickly and they went above and beyond to be sure we were comfortable. This is a perfect spot to stay if you enjoy seclusion with lots of fun activities just a short distance away. We look forward to returning!"

Top Cherry Log Hotel Reviews

Reid Ridge Lodge

8/10 Good

"The building and room was nice. Helpful, friendly staff. Easy parking. Great location. The only negative is the walls are too thin if there are guests in rooms next door."

Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge

8/10 Good

"The views are spectacular and the trails to the falls were worth the effort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms could use some maintenance (carpet, tv remote) and room was not stocked with soap. I had to request soap from the front desk to use in the bathroom. We were disappointed that the restaurant only offered a buffet dinner- it was ok but overpriced."

Hampton Inn Blue Ridge

8/10 Good

"Overall, a pretty solid stay at the Hampton Inn in Blue Ridge! The check-in process was quick and seamless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 426, which was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom. The beds were fairly comfortable, although I have to say the pillows were absolutely atrocious and could definitely use an upgrade. One thing worth mentioning is that the shower floor was quite slippery when wet, so I ended up placing a towel down for extra traction. As for breakfast, I'm not a big breakfast person, so I kept it simple with some orange juice and a bagel. However, they offered the usual selection of sausage, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and other basics. Nothing particularly impressive, but enough to get your morning started. The fitness center was also nothing to brag about, but it served its purpose. Parking was plentiful, including several spaces designated for electric vehicles and accessible parking. Now, where this hotel really shines is its location! You're literally in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, with restaurants, shops, and local attractions just steps away.Another nice convenience is that each floor has vending and ice machines, making it easy to grab something without having to head down to the lobby. One feature I particularly appreciated was the added security. After hours, guests need their room key to access both the parking area and the hotel."

Forrest Hills Mountain Resort

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in the apartment style room rather than the separate cabins but can’t wait to come back up and enjoy the cabins. Beautiful area and amenities offered. Loved the breakfast and dining area. Look forward to coming on a weekend next time and getting to check out the buffet. Real friendly staff everywhere we went. Great place."

Pet-Friendly-Lakefront Cabin w/Amazing Views-Hot Tub

10/10 Excellent

"Super clean, well-appointed, beautiful view, everything was very user-friendly (lights, climate control, fire pit). We loved it! They had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and beautiful place to stay and great location. Easily would recommend to anyone!"
