This mountain lodge is a wonderful alternative to a standard hotel! It has character, a decent size room and great breakfasts! The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful sunset view overlooking the mountains at night on a shared balcony. I truly enjoyed this hotel and I would return again!

The whole place is beautiful & breath taking...inside & out. The staff were VERY accommodating. The food was exceptional. The views are just so awesome. Everything was clean, neat, tidy and the atmosphere was relaxing. We had a wheelchair accessible room. It even had a walk on shower with a seat.

"The property is perfectly situated just far enough out of town to offer a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions. Wonderful stay. So peaceful and quiet. Terrific host, Don, who gave us some wonderful suggestions for hikes. The breakfast was also wonderful and different each morning!!! We enjoyed eating supper one night at Montaluce winery. The food was good and views were really beautiful.
