"Well. The owner was very nice but property was being worked on. They had walls unpainted basement floor was not done so no one wanted to stay downstairs plumbing had to be readjusted two of the 5 beds upstairs caved in the middle. Also the heating only worked well in one room you had to put it at 75 so that it could be felt elsewhere but the one room would then be too hot. Should not rent out again until he fixes floors walls mirrors and beds "

Great location for a family gathering to bike, visit the battlefield or visit Shepherdstown. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. "Beautiful location and comfy home. The house had a lot of spiderwebs but otherwise was clean. The AC was not very powerful so the house was pretty hot. We used the multiple box fans to cool off. The kitchen, cleaning supplies, bathrooms, towels, etc were well stocked. The washer/dryer worked well. "

"The house was amazing, great views and a great layout that allowed for us to hang as a group or have some privacy. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do; Harper’s Ferry, Ziplining (or rafting based on time of year), and the Brewery that we went to on the last night felt like it was almost walking distance. Definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. "

"We had a wonderful time on our visit to DC, staying 2 nights at the Henley. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a welcoming door man who helped me unload our luggage and park our vehicle quickly and efficiently. Our check in was flawless and all of our interactions with the staff was pleasant and professional. Our room was fantastic; spacious, relaxing and relatively quiet for being in the heart of the city. We enjoyed two breakfasts at the Henley, and both times our server was attentive and kind and both of our breakfasts were delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. Access to the National Mall was easy and lovely; walking past the St. Patrick's church, Ford's Theater, the FBI building, and the Department of Justice. I would definitely recommend staying at the Henley for the decor and comfort of the hotel, the spacious room, and the convenience of walking to many DC attractions within 10-15 minutes. "
