"Not a great place for business travelers. The room was good but everything else was a hassle. Code to get in building was wrong. The code to get in the room was wrong. Parking is a hassle as well. While trying to pay for parking on a website that doesn’t work, I got messages saying my car was going to be towed. There are way better places to stay in Duluth that aren’t a hassle. I will say the lady I had to call over and over was very nice."

"Only complaint was not checking location of room. It was right by the front door. And area set up for breakfast. I like to sleep in and a little noisy for me. Great staff, very accommodating. Very clean. Would book this mansion again, just in a different part of the house."

"Loading zone was used up by an employee. Had to pay $7 in a parking ramp just to access property to drop of luggage. Then at check in I was suspicious room was even cleaned. Cleaner was finishing vacuuming. I was TOLD the room was cleaned. LIE! Dried urine on floor by master bedroom. Even after they cleaned it had lingering smell, that they knew about. Dirt all over the floors, finger prints every where. Kitchen not wiped down. They came back and did clean some while I was there. Did find a hair in the linens, and they did change. I know happens with washing laundry and static. But I noticed the bed rocked when she was changing sheets. I went downstairs and was told oh I hope that wouldn't be a problem. Seriously?! Why was this room available to book!!!!"

"Our family was impressed with the Inn. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location on Park Point (longest sand bar in the world). Excellent breakfast, sauna, hottub, pool. Adequate exercise room. Great place to get stuck in a blizzard like we had."

"The check in was fine, the staff was super helpful and friendly. The hotel is outdated, had a musk to it, including the hallways and the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and clean. The heater/AC wasn’t too noisy either. I didn’t try the breakfast, as it opens at 0630."

"Not sure why, the last few times we’ve stayed here the pool has been out for days out of the trip. Sauna is missing pieces. Communication to guests about amenities is not followed through upon when stated. It’s clear some staff don’t care. And it’s clear some staff are truly trying. Also, what happened to the waffles. "
