"The Lakeview Best Western Hotel in Madison, SD is very clean and well-maintained. The staff members are helpful and accommodating. They also serve a great breakfast. We have stayed in this hotel several times in the past 3-4 months and we have thoroughly enjoyed each stay."

"You can tell they are upgrading the hotel. Love the wood floors; nobody wants musty/damp carpet in their room. The room was spacious enough for one night and was clean. I don't like that the sink area is outside of the toilet area; makes it hard for one person to get ready while someone sleeps. It's on a busier road, but it's Dell Rapids, so it didn't bother us. Plus, the AC masks a lot of sounds. Employees/owners were friendly and helpful. No coffee in the room, but the fridge worked. Super convenient for visiting family nearby, and the price was right."

"It was fantastic, in fact the group was talking about next year already. Everyone loved it.My host was excellent when I had to call (only because we were technically challenged with the new oven). Towels were in the dryer when we arrived so that was fantastic for any whom chose to have to shower from their trip. Nicely furnished with everything you need in a home to use. The gameroom was a hit as well, loads of entertainment. The only questions I failed to ask was if we can have service animals and if any military or senior discounts are available. Will we recommend this place to our friends, most assuredly we will."

"Our family of 7 had a great time! We played on the beach (bring water shoes-it's a little rocky!), played bean bags outside and inside (the garage was a good spot to hang out in when it rained). There was plenty of seating with the table and the kitchen counter area. The cabin was very clean and there were a lot of things to use like marshmallow sticks, crockpots, air fryer, etc. My son loved taking the little mini kayak thing out by the dock and we took the canoe out a few times.My only critique and it's no fault on the owner, it was just my oversight, was that the beach is across a road. The road is NOT busy at all, but with 3 smaller kids- it did cause some maneuvering. Mostly kids are kids and when you get down to the beach, someone ALWAYS has to use the bathroom :D Living room area isn't huge but was fine for us- we didn't spend a lot of time there. The couch was very comfortable. We had a very good time and the neighbors and owner are SO nice. Instant messages back if we had questions. The neighbors took us out for a pontoon ride one night- they were very nice people. Very nice place on a very quiet lake."
