Wendy and Anthony are 5-star incredible hosts. They’re working non-stop revitalizing this beautiful property. I would come back just to support their continued dedication and their welcoming, generous nature. Kudos to you both and we wish you every success! The pool is new and very relaxing - we definitely spent most of our time here. The hosts offered us pool toys for our kids to use which was so nice. The lake is a short walk down the road with a safe swimming area, sand and a lifeguard (during operating hours). The hosts offer non-motorized watercraft on carts to wheel down with you. There’s a playground for small kids and a games room for older kids. They have bonfires each night and fireworks some nights too. We stayed in the upper chalet - new plates, silverware, cups, glasses, etc. Appliances, towels and bedsheets were clean. Each room has a window air conditioner which keeps it cool. Interior still needs some updating throughout but it is well maintained. Lots to do around the resort if you feel like leaving. The scenic caves were very cool! Hosts have lots of recommendations which were spot on.

Great place!

My husband and kids and I stayed here for a long weekend of skiing at Gore and it was just perfect! The place was cozy and clean. We especially enjoyed the wood burning stove. Wendy and Anthony very accommodating and so friendly. They answered all of our many questions, helped us out with finding local restaurants and things to do, delivered daily firewood to us and let us have a late checkout when our plans got changed for our last day. Anthony kept the driveway and walkways clear despite a ton of snow and ice that came down. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again soon!

Fantastic Hosts

Anthony and Wendy are fantastic hosts - enthusiastic, energetic, hospitable, knowledgeable, personable. We stayed in the Upper Chalet in early October, just as the leaves were turning. Wendy and Anthony knew all of the hikes and drives to take, and how exciting or strenuous each was. Loved the stay, loved the location, loved the Adirondacks, and loved the hospitality.
