Good location with nearby commercial area where most shopping needs can be met. Property was clean, organized and is generally a good value for the money .

We booked our stay after I had a surgical procedure. We were thoroughly pleased with our hotel choice. The facility was very clean. The color choices throughout the hotel were uplifting and calming. The deco was modern and fresh. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Bonus for being close to so many shopping/food options and easy access to the interstate! We would definitely book again for leisure or a weekend getaway!

Stay was nice.

It was nice the only things were air conditioning unit needed instructions for guest to work it properly for there stay,the bed was hard, and the frigerator wasn't cold. Other than those quick fixes it was good.

Doesn’t feel safe a lot of homeless

It was my first time staying and it did not disappoint. Its a very historical building so if you love the charm of hidden features this is it. The wi dows also open which was amazing being so high up with a perfect view of the capitol. I cant wait to book again. The desk attendant Fiie was very sweet and polite. Check in was easy and a breeze. The expedia VIP bag was cute and mich appreciated after my long drive.

Stayed here for a little weekend getaway and it was the perfect. Seamless check in, very nice room with incredible features and extremely cozy. It was also walking distance from every major museum or land mark we wanted to see. And if you wanted to go a little farther? Just go down the street to the Metro station or take an Uber, or if you’re feeling adventurous, just hop on a scooter or bike and head to your destination as everything is close.

I always try to stay in nice affordable hotels that sometimes lead to disappointment but this was a very nice hotel that was worth every penny. I really enjoyed my stay in this room, the room felt modern with no carpet (which I enjoyed), the headboard was leather (easy to wipe), and the bathroom had a modern shower head with a handheld shower which was great. The only part I had a problem with was the shower door and floor did not connect well so no matter what I tried the floor got wet. I...

We had an amazing stay here. I booked this place due to location and the previous reviews. We were delighted. The staff is amazingly friendly and efficient. The were decorated nicely and most importantly the bed was comfortable! We had a lunch and 2 breakfasts in the restaurant. The meals were not overpriced and were quite tasty. Without a doubt, we will stay here again if we are in DC.

I almost never leave reviews but my experience here was so good, I want to share it. First thing, yes the rooms are small but the dimensions are listed so there should be no surprise. But also, the room was CLEAN- like immaculately clean and that’s important for me. We stayed at the Tempo with our kids and had a great stay. The location was great for exploring the city. This is one of the only hotels I’ve seen offer two king beds which was a huge bonus, not to mention the beds were super comfy! The hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly. Their espresso martini at the bar in the best one I’ve ever had! Richard providing excellent service in the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again!
