"I’ve read other reviews so maybe this is specific to room 303 where we stayed. The bathroom was pretty disgusting. Water stains on the ceiling, toilet paper roll about to fall off the wall, the distance between the sink and wall would not be sufficient for a larger person, mold in the shower conditioner bottle and the shower had a strong sewage odor. We asked to switch rooms and was told there was not another room available. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Older hotel, but located very close to the zoo and some other attractions. Very friendly staff, and the breakfast restaurant on the main level was great each morning. "

"Rubin was absolutely amazing. I had never been to the area , despite being swamped at the front desk he took the time to explain parking to me and give me my best options he asks about my personal plans for the night and. Next day to ensure I opted into the best parking location. He even offered to handle the 4 o’clock gate for me !! He provided us with explanation to get complimentary breakfast and bath robes which made me feel so comfortable like and relaxed in the room for the night before a. Big day exploring the city next day. He is an asset and truely made our entire night. Also the bartender at the downstairs bar was phenomenal , a little fly landed near my drink and he immediately swapped it out for fresh ice and cup , I felt truely so taken care of and as though the staff truely cares about our experience !!! I did not want to leave and will definitely be coming back with more friends next time !! "

"The elevator was broken. The room was clean but smelled somewhat like stale cigarette smoke. At least the window could be opened, though it didn't seem to help much. When I went to check out, there was no one at the desk for 10 minutes. My call to the property went unanswered. There was not a drop box for keys either. Another couple came to check out, too. They ended up writing a note and leaving it with their keys."

"This hotel had the perfect location for my purposes. The room and bathroom was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was short tempered, and did not give clear directions. At first they forgot to give me the key, so I didn't know my room number. Then, they told me to go park in the garage, under the hotel. It looked like you were heading into a garbage dump. Then, the directions for using the garage code was not clear. However, it all worked out well in the end. I will stay there happily next year now that I understand the set up."

"Not sure why this place has a resort fee. But maybe because the rooftop was closed out of season while I was there (opens Memorial Day?) The gym is big and well outfitted, but no pool or sauna or even showers outside the main room. There is a restaurant/bar on-site that is nice, but being a guest doesn’t seem to have any benefit. Good location, nice building. Some of the staff were helpful, others seemed overworked or generally put out. We had a major issue with no hot water for several hours which went uncompensated even though I explained I had to take a cold shower to get ready for my event. No attempt to get me to a space with a hot shower available. The nighttime door was locked and keys wouldn’t get us in, so another guest had to let a group of us in, no staff in sight. Made me nervous to go out later, so I stayed in. Pretty room, nice art, overall could be a luxury stay if the staff could keep up with the issues guests experienced."
