"We stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott Bethesda Downtown after a long day at a volleyball tournament, and while the hotel initially looked nice, the experience was extremely disappointing. Loud music from a speaker near our room (Room 605) kept us awake late into the night and woke us again at 4 AM. Despite multiple complaints, the issue was not properly resolved. When we requested a room change, it was denied, and we ultimately had to check out early due to lack of sleep. To make matters worse, the checkout time on our receipt was incorrect and could not be adjusted. Overall, the hotel failed to provide a quiet and comfortable stay, and customer service was unhelpful. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. PS: the follow up from hotel management the following morning has not met our expectations. They tried to balance shift to other guest and offered $35 discount which was complimentary to start with. "

"Check in wasn’t as easy, they told me I had to wait until 3:00 pm ( even though I arrived at 2:54pm) and after waiting about 30 mins they were unable to complete bc rooms were not ready so I decided to drop my luggage and once I came back at night, it was fine and I got my room. "

"Front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind. Our room was ready early which was also very nice. It ended up being terrible weather during our stay so we tried to book some spa services to stay out of the weather. The spa didn't answer, but then did call back to inform us they didn't have any staff actually on site and would have to call them in. They couldn't actually tell us if we could book an appointment until the next day and asked us to call back. The next morning called back to try again-but no answer. We had breakfast in the lovely dining room-decent food and very nice waitstaff. Also had dinner in the lounge. The cocktails were delicious, but the food was so-so. There was a large conference and I think the kitchen might have been overwhelmed-food took forever to come and was just not great "

"One of the worse hotel experiences I ever had - it was one unpleasant surprises after another- from broken elevator we had to carry all our belongings to the 4th floor & the concierge never had the decency to announce it, nor apologized for the inconvenience. They’ve advertised for free parking online while throw you with a fee for parking at their facility. The price advertised on Travelocity website was a truce about the actual motel was charging- Besides the rooms, hallways & stairways was dirty , old lapiidated. Their linens bedding were ripped, wrinkled & untidy. On top of it all, there were no hotwater to take showers. I was so disappointed "

"Even though in the description it clearly states they have AC, this time of the year they do not. So with the fluctuations of Temperature and being on a higher floor the rooms are very warm. We were told to just open a window, which are not screened. Had to ask for a fan, one was not offered as a solution when I called. I was just rudely told it states on the website that they do not have AC, which is inaccurate. So if you can’t sleep in a hot room at night you may want to rethink staying here. The majority of the staff at the front will not greet you in any fashion, I always greeted them with a smile and barely would get a response. If you’re looking for a place that is within walking distance to all of the monuments this is not in a location for that. We had to Take an uber every day to and from the Main area. "
