Family-friendly, stylish Chicago Apartment in Logan Square

Welcome to Hamlin House! The living area has beautifully restored hardwood floors and the bathroom was completely renovated in 2019. The unit sleeps seven if people are willing to share two doubles, one queen, and one twin. We've lived in the area for 10 years and are always around to answer any questions and help you navigate the neighborhood. We want you to feel at home in Logan Square! The unit comes equipped with a full kitchen and enough serveware for entertaining. Perfect for families, friends, short or extended stays.

Our love for travel, vintage furniture, and art means that many of the pieces we've selected to furnish Hamlin House are rich in history and character. This includes a cast-iron lion poster bed, tons of mature plants, and vintage furniture and decor. The kitchen comes stocked with a coffee station, olive oil, salt, pepper, various spices for cooking, and more. There is a smart TV which you can login to all of your favorite streaming networks.

We loved our stay at Hamlin house! It’s space is great and feels ver welcoming. The location was great, close to the subway station to go to downtown Chicago and to visit Logan Square. Daniel was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay

Perfect accommodations for our family

Clean and very welcoming, appointed with lovely artwork and lively plants! Cozy yet plenty of room and for our goup of 6 adults. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nice apartment! We have family that live in Logan Square so location was great! Plenty of room to have them over for dinner. Loved the natural light, decor and the plants. Would stay there again 😊

Easter Weekend

We had an amazing time staying at the VRBO! Perfect size for 3 adults and 2 children. And a lovely table for our Easter meal and to play games with the family. Highly recommend!!

Great stylist apartment in a good location

We really enjoyed our stay in Chicago. Apartment was great for our needs - family of 4 with 2 older teens. Was a bit further to walk to transport than we anticipated but was not a problem for us and transport links were good. Overall very good experience.

Fun Time and Great food in Logan Square

The place was great for the 4 of us! Very nice and clean. The restaurants near by were incredible too (Pan Artisanal and Caribella were great breakfast/brunch spots close by). Would definitely stay here again. Only slight complaint was that one of the beds was a bit lumpy but it didn’t slow us down. Parking was no issue for us either!

Excellent flat in Chicago!

Some friends and I had a great stay at this property. Check in and out was easy, there's ample street parking, and the flat itself is lovely with comfy beds and furniture. It's about a 30-min walk to the heart of Logan Square and the El, but numerous restaurants, a great coffee shop (Necessary and Sufficient) and a grocery store are a shorter walk away. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

Hosts were super easy to communicate with, very flexible, and the place had plenty of room. It was super clean and easy to access. The only issue was that the coffee maker had a hard time working- not really a problem though! The decor was beautiful and the sunroom got lots of light. Would recommend for anyone coming to Chicago and willing to stay a little outside of downtown.

Authentic Chicagoan

I lived in Chicago almost 20 years ago. It was so great to stay in a neighborhood like a real Chicagoan and not a tourist. The home was clean and lovely. The neighborhood is great and it's an easy ride to downtown making the stay so easy and fun.

Fun in Chicago!

Came to celebrate my friend’s 30th. Daniel’s place was splendid! From the decor, beautiful and thriving plants, and the morning light, the vibes were immaculate. The place is in a great location, walkable to Logan Square where there is train access. The place was clean and Daniel was an attentive host with his responsiveness, early check in, coffee bar, and like I said, amazing decor! Thanks Daniel!

Beautiful place!

Beautiful apartment -- decorated beautifully and amazing greenery throughout! We stayed here with our two kids, 1 and 3 years old, and they provided a high chair and toys for the kids, too! There was even utensils and cups/plates for the kids in the kitchen. Really nice to offer all that for families. All the amenities you'd need and more are included. I'd highly recommend this apartment! Hopefully, we can come back again for another stay in the future.

Charming & Comfortable

Perfect place to stay for a fun weekend in Chicago! The decor and overall setup of the space was very trendy, charming, and welcoming! Looks just as the listing describes and photos show. Neighborhood was pretty quiet and easy to find street parking close by. The host was very responsive when we had a question too! Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of hot water for 5 people to shower, and the beds were firm but comfy! Would just recommend that the top bunk only be for a child or young adult because my friend said that mattress was a bit thin. All the beautiful plants throughout the space were a huge plus!

First-Time in a Vrbo, Would Do Again

Very nice furnishings, excellent location for dining. The large plants were a nice touch. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Nice couch in TV area was used often. Sun porch area was a nice little "get-away" within the suite itself. Minor negatives: One of the in-room fans (bedroom off kitchen) didn't work. The AC doesn't get to the bedrooms as well unless doors are left open, so the fans are needed for air circulation. Washcloths had just a bit of detergent build-up odor (which is hard to avoid.)
