Wonderful place for a family gathering.

The place was perfect for our large family. It felt like we were actually at one of our homes. Plenty of space to hang together for conversation or card games.

Beautiful home in great location. Perfect Host!

My family stayed at the Glen Ellyn cottage to visit with my daughter who is in school in the area. It was wonderful in every way. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and in a great location. The beds were so comfortable, I'm hoping to find the same model to replace my mattress at home. Rahila was quickly responsive to every email. We were hoping to stay again for graduation, but that weekend is already booked. Highly recommended property.

We were a large group of senior women reuniting for a weekend, and our stay was delightful. The property is exactly as described—well-maintained, and thoughtfully appointed. Communication with the owners was seamless; they were accommodating and responsive. For instance, when we requested additional linens, they addressed our needs promptly. Beautiful place (on a busy road)

Very nice home and property. This is located on a very busy road, so you can hear cars going by. Also something you note if you have young children. Would stay again and overall very nice.

We were in town for a funeral. The house was just as listed, and location was perfect for us. As others have noted, it is on a busy road, but the back yard is lovely and very private. We had trouble accessing the place and we were unable to reach the hosts. After 3 calls to VRBO and an hour later we were able to get inside. The VRBO rep was very helpful attempting to contact the host. I would consider staying again. The 4 stars are due to communication lapse and a few minor issues.

We had difficulty getting into the house as the code given didn't work. We left several voice and VRBO messages to the own and finally got a new code. We left a messge the next day with a question about the table fire pit and never received a response. The house was beautiful and suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable, yard pretty with fall foliage. The location was perfect for our stay. It would have been helpful to know which bedrooms and bathrooms were on each floor in the listing
