The stay was good and not so good. I wouldn’t say it was a bad stay by any means. The location of the hotel is incredible and some of the amenities were great. The complaints I have is, no one cleaned our Room or even restocked anything in the three nights we were there. Also some of the things in the room were broken and I had to show staff not to get charged. I would recommend it because of the location but if you expect staff to help I wouldn’t stay here. Overall 3.75/5

I was nervous after seeing all the reviews about extra charges, but apparently that is based on which room you book, so if in doubt call and ask . I booked the 2 bunk beds+queen bed room and it was great! Clean and the beds were all comfortable. Staff was helpful as well

I really liked this "boutique" style hotel as it was conveniently located and was a great value for the price. It was walking distance to the Magnificent Mile and the Navy Pier. Hotel room was very clean and in a safe area. I would stay here again.

I'll list the issues we encountered: - No air conditioning - L train line runs less than 5 feet from the room's window - wifi password was only given if you purchase a $59 guest club membership - Kitchen cabinets were completely bare with no cups. We had to go to the front desk to get even a plastic cup. -Checkin person was unhelpful - On the positive side, the room was quiet and the location is great.

Must purchase a "special" guest package. That was not listed, just found out about when we got there. $79 a day, plus a $39 fee to process the taking of my $79. The "special package" gets you two drinks,.... not at the cafe/bar shown in the picture, because that isn't open!! Decor is cool, staff was fine, overall value horrible, save your money for someplace that has no surprise fees, and actually gives what they advertise in the pictures.

The coffee bar/food bar/bar is not even open, so there really was no food/drink onsite. We only had one chair at a tiny table for three people. They provided the bare minimum amenities, such as only 2 towels for 2 guests. This River North location is directly next to the train, so we could hear the train frequently and our room was constantly shaking. Worst of all, the shower did not have anything to keep the water in the shower and did not drain properly, so the entire bathroom was flooded after only 5 minutes in the shower. But since my boyfriend and I only had one towel each, we did not have a way to clean it up and the woman who came to see was not helpful. The shower also only had an extremely small shelf that could not fit any of our products and they did not provide any body wash. The staff were (for the most part) very nice and helpful, though!

Enjoyed having the kitchen dining area open that was equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals definitely saved money. Location was great parking all around Chicago is horrible staff that checked us in was kind of rude but staffed. The next morning was great. Enjoyed our stay overall.
