"Loved the hotel overall, the breakfast was really good and the rooms were super clean and comfortable. For a place that charges a resort fee, we were underwhelmed. The only perk was a $15 a day bar credit. There was no pool or hot tub or anything that made it feel like a resort fee was warranted. So that unnecessary fee made me pretty unhappy but overall I enjoyed the property."

"We very much enjoyed our stay here. I was a little nervous when booking because there was not a photo of the exterior. I was pleased to pull up and see that it is a beautiful three story stone building on a tree lined street. The property was spacious and clean, and the master bed was very comfortable. We appreciated that the host provided a coffee maker with both drip and K cup options as well as a French press and frother (we love coffee!)."

"Initially had trouble contacting the staff prior checking in. They asked for Venmo/zelle deposit first before giving any check in details to protect property in case any issues. They are responsive by email instead of phone but took awhile for response, which was detailed. The location is ten minutes south of fun stuff to do in Chicago, easy to uber from there. The details to get into unit was self explanatory. Bed and restroom were clean. The restroom and living room is shared. There are other guests as well. Restroom was clean but did not have any body wash, shampoo, or conditioner like other air dnb places do. The price was appropriate for location but would wish it had more amenities in restroom. My deposit was eventually returned to me about week after."

"It's was great! We where in town on a couples getaway and had a wonderful time. This place was, for the most part, all around perfect; all but the fire hydrant, hot tub N/A, and the tree that keep us from the green room balcony. But you can't blame mother nature or let her stop you. We still had a blast. The location was perfect after parting in the city. The scenic routes from and to this home were beautiful. This home was spacious enough for three couples to hang out together and still have their personal space. Oh yeah, our host was great with communication and decorations."

"Very cozy and clean with convenient Lyft & Uber services during our stay. Perfect location if you’re in Chicago for events along the Lake Shore. Very pet friendly! Our pets are crate trained so plenty of room to accommodate even though it’s one bedroom. Lots of grass area for walks right outside Toca Bella. DoorDash options in the neighborhood are extremely fast and delicious, and parking was a breeze! Check in/out was almost too easy-very helpful. We would definitely stay again, and hope other people enjoy this gem as much as we did!"
