Absolutely amazing family run cozy hotel. Quiet neighborhood, in a small Bavarian community, great breakfast selection. Rooms are very comfortable. We had a balcony I believe all rooms do. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The suite was clean,though dated, spacious and the views from the balcony are great. The bathroom is really nice. Unfortunately, the description misrepresented the conditions of the room. The suite is presented as two rooms, but both beds are in the same room, which was a problem for us since we are a couple with a teenage child, and we need two separate rooms. Also, the kitchen was a problem. The microwave was broken, the tea kettle was dirty. Most of all, the staff at the hotel was terrible....

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I thought I was booking an inexpensive hotel conveniently located near the highway. This place far exceeded my expectations: this hotel could be a destination in itself. The swimming pools (in and out), the grounds, the decor (handcrafted, unusual furniture).....and the breakfast! Fabulous.
