"Norse Hus is a cute little hideaway in the woods on the Gunflint Trail! Megan was quick to get back to us with questions and booking. We enjoyed how cozy and clean this cabin was with it's beautiful woodwork. Several mornings we enjoyed watching beautiful sunrises through the windows from bed in the loft, one of my favorite parts of staying here! We enjoyed being near Caribou Rock Trail for an amazing hike, Hungry Jack Lodge for a quick dinner out, and enjoyed getting our coffee/tea fix at The Loons Nest right down the road! We can't wait to come back for our next stay!"

"The cabin is good except for no air condition in the rooms. It's terrible hot, we can't sleep. That's the only cons in this trip."

"This cabin was close to Grand Marais but far enough away that it was a great, quiet place to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Included a small kitchen with everything we needed to cook some meals. Living room, bathroom, and bedroom all on the same level. Nice screened windows on a porch on 2 sides -- was a great place to sit and read. Nice deck. And a GREAT outdoor shower! Ralph was a great host! I think the surroundings and the quiet made this a great place to stay. Thank you Ralph!"

"Very clean. Very quiet. Beautiful location. Very nice host. If you are looking for a getaway to escape the routine and distractions of life, this is the place. The Gunflint Trail will not disappoint."

"Only caveat was that we expected three bedrooms and there were two. The "third" was a room with a foldout couch and a higher-quality air mattress, no closet or storage for clothes, and a sliding screen for privacy. Also, two twin beds were in a three-season porch that was less secure. That inconvenience was superceded by the marvelous kitchen and eating area and the expansive, comfortable deck overlooking the lake. One improvement that several in our party suggested was brighter lighting in the living room. Overall, all nine of us had a rewarding week swimming, fishing, hiking Blueberry Hill, and visiting the nearby museum."
