"We were in a newer building next to only restaurant. The views out our balcony were beautiful with the color changes in the trees. Room was beautiful and spacious. Would stay here again. Restaurant seemed busy and service was slow, but overall it was good. "
Classic Rustic 2-bedroom secluded cabin on Devil Track Lake - Grand Marais
10/10 Excellent
"This cabin was close to Grand Marais but far enough away that it was a great, quiet place to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Included a small kitchen with everything we needed to cook some meals. Living room, bathroom, and bedroom all on the same level. Nice screened windows on a porch on 2 sides -- was a great place to sit and read. Nice deck. And a GREAT outdoor shower! Ralph was a great host! I think the surroundings and the quiet made this a great place to stay. Thank you Ralph!"
Waterfront Log Cabin on Lake Saganaga with Motor Exempt Permit Available.
10/10 Excellent
"Only caveat was that we expected three bedrooms and there were two. The "third" was a room with a foldout couch and a higher-quality air mattress, no closet or storage for clothes, and a sliding screen for privacy. Also, two twin beds were in a three-season porch that was less secure. That inconvenience was superceded by the marvelous kitchen and eating area and the expansive, comfortable deck overlooking the lake. One improvement that several in our party suggested was brighter lighting in the living room. Overall, all nine of us had a rewarding week swimming, fishing, hiking Blueberry Hill, and visiting the nearby museum."
"What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!"
"The pictures don’t do this home justice! So quiet and cozy, all the furniture was arranged perfectly for the layout of the house. We enjoyed long walks down the quiet road with plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Tom communicated with us every step of the way and gave plenty of recommendations of things to do. We have every intention of coming back the next time we need some peace and quiet to reset "
