Sea Oats - Water front w/ Boat dock!

A destination unto itself, Sea Oats offers wide open spaces, beautiful waterfront and views of Oyster Bay and plenty of room to spread out and relax. A luxury vacation rental home with all the bells and whistles, Sea Oats will delight your senses. From the tastefully decorated rooms and high-quality furnishings, you'll enjoy a great vacation without skimping on anything! Relax on the waterside screened porch, the sun deck or the ground-level covered porch after a great day at the beach. Or enjoy the hammock -- it's located in a nice shady spot -- as well as crabbing/fishing right from the dock! Clean your catch of the day at the fish cleaning station, then cook it on the gas grill. Bring your boat or kayak and dock it! Accommodations for 8 include a master bedroom suite with queen bed, 2nd bedroom with another queen bed, 3rd bedroom with two sets of bunks (2T on one side and T/D on other side), and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. 2 full baths, a large outdoor shower and a very well-equipped kitchen with laundry will meet your every need.

Peaceful Retreat

Your home was lovely and had everything we needed. Even a great first aid kit which unfortunately I had to use when I cut my foot. So many games and movies, great for entertaining. Loved the 2nd sink in the kitchen and the fish cleaning sink outside! We kayaked right from the pier, crabbed and fished. We’re already discussing when we can all come back to Sea Oats next year!

A wonderful house for a holiday. Our whole family enjoyed using the dock for crabbing, fishing and kayaking. The large windows offered great natural light and a comfortable place to relax.

Sea Oats did not disappoint! The house is spacious and very pretty both inside and out. The decor is unique. It was very clean upon arrival. We had an issue with the grill, but a really nice service technician was out the next morning and fixed it. He was also very helpful with providing my husband with specific fishing info. I would totally rent this house again and book further rentals through Chincoteague Resort Vacations!

This was the second year in a row that we stayed at Sea Oats and it didn't disappoint! We love Chincoteague. The property is beautiful, very relaxing . We did crabbing off the dock and spent our days at the beach. Will be back next year and can't wait!!!Would recommend the house and island to everyone!

A new dishwasher would be nice. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. Some sort of curtains/blinds in the living room would be a nice touch. I found the bug spray and finally killed off the ANTS in the KITCHEN and living room. we will use your office again but NOT sea oats

Lovely Spot in the Oyster Bay Community

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Chincogeague since 1971 for long weekends and for Thanksgiving with another family. So we have stayed many different houses in Oyster Bay. The house is lovely and spacious with a large plan plan living/dinning room. There is a large master en suite with a queen bed. However the second bedroom with a queen bed is very small with no closet. So it is too small for a second couple to move around in and they have to use a closet in the hall outside their bedroom. So it's very uncomfortable for the second couple. This house is better suited for a large family because of the small bedroom and the third bunk bedroom. So I recommend this house but not for two couples.

Great place to relax

We very much enjoyed the house. The light and spacious space helped us relax. Majestic views and sunsets. Very confortable. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of games and toys for the kids! We will definitively come back.

Lovely property; poor mgt company

This is a lovely property - good space for socializing, relaxing, cooking, and eating. Nice location. However, the rental management company is very poor. No information was sent regarding keys and check-in; emails during business hours were unanswered. You must pick up and drop off keys at the rental office. Most shocking - no bed linens or towels were provided. The VRBO ad was unclear and didn’t state the price — $89 for bed linen “rental” and another $89 for towel “rental”. (Note: When brought to their attention, the rental co provided bed linens w/out charge.) This policy seems odd and cheap for a long weekend rental. The “amenities bag” consisted of a roll of paper towels, one small dish soap, a single serving of laundry soap, and one additional trash bag. No shampoo or hand soap was provided in the bathrooms. Again, lovely property, poorly managed.

Perfect island getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Home was sparkling clean and spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. We loved the convenience of docking our boat in the canal. Only things missing were bikes and kayaks. Would have been convenient to have them there rather than renting.
