"We stayed at Ensana Buxton Crescent and found it to be a luxurious spa retreat in a beautifully restored Georgian building. The rooms were elegant and comfortable, with period features, plush beds, and freestanding baths that made us feel pampered. The spa was the highlight—complete with a rooftop pool, relaxation pool, saunas, steam rooms, and thermal baths filled daily with Buxton’s natural spring water. The experience was deeply restorative and left us feeling refreshed. We appreciated the central location, which made it easy to explore Buxton and the nearby Peak District. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The overall experience was smooth and satisfying. Ensana Buxton Crescent gave us a memorable blend of heritage, wellness, and relaxation."

"A lovely gem of a pub with a fantastic restaurant and friendly staff/hosts. A very enjoyable stay and will definitely return. Stayed in the largest of the three bedrooms. Very characterful and with a freestanding bath in the bedroom, decent double shower in bathroom and 2 comfortable swivel chairs in bedroom. It was very comfortable. Showing a little sign of wear and tear but not major. Only downside in bathroom was no overflow for sink, so no plug but it wasn’t a major issue. Had been twice previously for their excellent Sunday lunch, so decided to stay over this time and try one of their interesting fish dishes. Tried the catalan fish stew which was superb. It was difficult to choose from the lovely dishes on the menu. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and so did the bar. Breakfast was excellent and nice and peaceful with only 6 guests. Would definitely recommend staying and eating at the Swan and we wish the owners much continued success. "

"The room was small but adequate and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfasts and had plenty to choose from. The bar staff were pleasant and helpful. It would have been good to have some evening lights on the outside path down to the town. The gardener had a difficult job to clear the leaves from the path. He did a good job"

"From the moment we arrived till we said goodbye the staff were accommodating, personable and demonstrated efforts to ensure we felt comfortable and well served. Lovely, comfortable hotel with a very good breakfast - buffet cereals etc and cooked to order hot breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and xame across as efficient and happy in their work. "
