"This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room. "The Blanket hotel has excellent staff. It is a boutique hotel but has all the amenities you need. They also provide lots of additional services such as yoga, nature walk, cooking demos and so on. The pool is also beautiful. The location next to the waterfall makes it magical. The other guests don’t follow rules much when it comes to use of the pool in proper attire. The staff of the hotel should be commended for their professionalism and positive attitude. Kudos to their floor manager and all the staff and a big thank you!"

"Very good property located ideally close to the lake but on the quieter side giving the best of both the worlds. Rooms are very cosy, near, clean and satisfactory amenities. Good restaurant with nice and good spread of food. Staff is very cooperative and helpful. I would suggest staying at this property than staying close to main lake area which is quite crowded and noisy. This property has great location. Excellent landscaping with lots of varieties of plants/ flowers make this a great place to unwind and relax"
