The game drive's were fantastic with the guide brilliantly knowledgeable, patient and excellent at finding animals to view - we saw a pride of lions relaxing after a hunt, giraffes, zebu, antelope, hippos, baboons, naughty monkeys and hundreds and hundreds of elephants. The best part of Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge apart from the staff is the watering hole. We had breakfast and dinner overlooking the watering hole watching...

"Amazingly helpful staff and great location for Chobe river. Downside is the pool is v small and currently a semi construction site with mud, heavy machinery and vehicles. Good for a brief stopover. "

"A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. "I have been in this lodge 2 days with my sons. I liked the style, the view and the staff. But in particular the surrounding area was amazing small rivers, lakes, wildlife was all there! Lions with cubs, a family of hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests, bison… beautiful!"

"Excellent lodging for visiting the Kasane area and doing Chobe Park activities. Location is a little outside of the main town area, but right next to a supermarket & Nando's restaurant. Lovely outdoor space with our room, which even had a small kitchen. Good breakfast, which we partook of before our activities. "Firstly, I had booked a lodge stay through Expedia and a company called Unlimited Luxury. The words “unlimited and luxury” had no bearing on what was to be offered and in my mind constitutes a breach of the trade descriptions acts. I made a number of attempts to contact this company for information prior to leaving the UK with no joy.
