Newly Renovated Rustic Cabin

This classic New Hampshire home will make you plan a vacation up here several times a year. In the warmer weather, there is close access to a beautiful beach on White Lake. Enjoy 'motor-boat free' swimming or take a kayak,canoe or paddle boat for a quiet tour of the lake. Amazing views of Mt Chocorua make the beach even better. In the winter, hop on your snowmobile and have direct access to Corridor 19, which you can ride on for days! Just 15-20 minutes to Mt Cranmore and King Pine Ski Resorts for skiing and tubing. Back to the house-this open concept newly renovated home is ideal for entertaining. Fully equipped kitchen, living room with wood stove and a sun room. There are two good sized bedrooms and a bunk room. There is one full bath with tub. This house has so much to offer. Centerally located to many attractions in the White Mountains. 15 minutes to North Conway, 20 minutes to Lake Winnipesukee, and 10 minutes to Lake Ossipee.

Communication was good, inside kitchen was fully stocked and clean. There are Bed linens. Upfront knowledge of NO towels, there are 3 bdrms. The bunks are not for adults..... Ice melt was provided. 2-3 car parking. Very cozy. Close proximity to what you need and about an hour drive to sightseeing. Will definitely be back to stay.

Very nice and clean cabin. Plenty of room to spread out. We loved that there were individual heat controls in every room. Quiet neighborhood. The only thing I would change is I wish the listing was clearer that towels are not supplied…. We had to go out and buy our own.
Hiked Mt. Chocorua …absolutely breathtaking!

The cleanliness of the cabin was terrible. Cobwebs inside and out around all windows. All the counters, appliances, cupboards were either streaky with dirt swipes, crumbs, or trash. Inside refrig was dirty. Two of the beds had sand in them and there were no sheets to change the beds with. Under the bathmat was old moldy trash and paper. The quilts on the beds were paper thin. Back door threshold rotted out and a big safety hazard. Windows either had no curtains or curtains that didn't close all the way so no sense of privacy. Never got the TV to work even after replacing the dead batteries in the remotes. Shower/bath drain and kitchen sink drain held standing water as draining was slow. The bulbs that did work in the kitchen kept flickering and we could smell a "burning plastic" smell so kept lighting to a minimum. Never was able to determine what was causing the smell so we all slept with doors open because the rooms with smoke detectors were the bedrooms only.Attempted to contact the owner. He gave us a number but it went to a woman who had no clue who we were. Sent another text and he said he tried calling but on our end it never was received. Sent another text with my wife's number asking him to call and he called back with yet a different number. He asked for pictures which we sent. All we asked for was at a minimum the cleaning fee to be returned. Never heard back from him. The experience was weird and less than desirable. Disappointing

We loved our stay at this cabin. The screened in porch was our favorite, we could have coffee out there in the morning and drinks in the evening without worrying about any bugs. The rooms all had fans and there was an AC in the master bedroom, which made it very cool and good for sleeping. The grill came in handy, it was clean enough to grill on, we did put some foil over the grate to help. There's a nice fire pit in the yard and the yard is partially fenced in. The location was good, close to White Lake state park, Dunkin donuts, Hobbs Brewery, and not far from North Conway. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others and we'll be back.

House could be great with a few updates. We used the ceiling fans because it was hot and they were super dusty. We were all sneezing. Living room floor was dirty and spider webs near doors and windows. Shower mat needs updating. Pillows in front bedroom need updating. Toaster oven worked but settings were worn off so could not tell where to put the dial.

Nice stay

Stay was nice. The shower did not drain, tv was tricky to turn on but once you figure it out, it’s fine. For a family of four, there is only one couch so there is not that much room to lounge. Overall, house was nice.

30th birthday weekend

This house was a great stay for a long weekend. We had 5 people and had plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked so making meals at home was great. The firepit was awesome and having a propane grill was nice for a cookout. The only downfall was a slow draining bathtub/shower and no towels being offered. I would totally stay again!

Cottage at Tamworth

The location was great. The rustic cottage was very cute Although some attention to the property is needed. The yard was full of debris (organic) I raked the back yard in order to enjoy the fire pit which had not been cleaned out in quite a while. I borrowed a shovel and shoveled it out. The Kitchen sink leaked in the cabinet. TV was difficult to operate I communicated my findings to the owner and I am sure he is going to look into it

Yearly Kayak trip cabin rental

Great, clean well equipped cabin just down the road from Ski Works for our yearly group kayaking trip. House had a single floor AC unit that was so appreciated on a really warm July weekend. Only issue was were unable to get outlets in the queen bedroom to work (reset breaker and GFCI outside to no avail). Owner responded promptly but was not resolved during our short two night stay. We improvised with an extension cord for a CPAP machine and a fan, no biggie. I hope to be repeat renter of this property. Some of our fellow paddlers also have stayed here with the same good results in years past. Thank you, we’ll be back!

Adorable cabin

Lovely cabin in the woods by Echo Lake State Park. Adequate space, kitchenware. Wi-fi not working during our stay. Had issue with hot water, that was quickly addressed by owner. Be sure to bring your own towels and note that AC is only in one room.

Wooded cottage

Great little place love the rustic feel, had a minor issue getting in batteries died in electronic key pad but with google and the host’s response we got through it no big deal. Could use some yard cleanup but still had some nice fires in fire pit grille worked great. Overall great vacation house could just use a little loving on the outside

Cabin That Needs Attention

Attended a wedding 8 mins away, so location positive. Very quiet lake community. The little cabin needs a "deep cleaning" for sure. Clean bathroom, refrig and sheets. Ends there unfortunately. *The outdoor grill is un-usable...rusty,dirty,grease pan full. *Needs a set of decent silverware and steak knives. No glassware for drinks. Only tall plastic cups. Funny that there were wine glasses! *Toaster oven doesn't work well, back rt burner of stove not working. Light and Fan not working on the stove. * Closets dirty and filled with all sorts of stuff, including dirty mops. * Trash was left on side of driveway ,guessing from last customer. * We own rental properties in Scarboro ,so we always tip cleaning staff and strip beds for them.... mistake...mattress pad disgusting ..... Overall....John, the cabin needs some love and a lot of cleaning. Definitely has the bones for a great rental property but not in this condition. Thanks.

Short stay

My husband and I stayed at this property over Memorial Day weekend for a nearby wedding. The property was just as listed and a great alternative to the hotels in the area. John was quick to respond to our messages as well. We will definitely be staying again!
