"Wonderful stay at Outrigger hotel in Surin! Highly recommend staying here. ( I am very fussy) arrived late at night, check in was fast and easy hotel to find with Grab. The first room was very noisy( slamming doors, paper thin walls) immediately I was upgraded to a bigger room with private pool. Guide(manager) listened to all my concerns and solved them swiftly. New room was beautiful, quiet ( except when a family checked in above me, kids jumping and banging Around) the private pool was cold and I loved it. The hotel is beautiful and clean. A walk across the street to Surin beach ( they have security to help you cross) the beach has bigger waves, lots my prescription glasses in the ocean. guide brought me my spare glasses to the beach so I could see! The breakfast is good and changes. The service here!! Omg it’s so good. All smiles. Everyone said hi and checked on me. I was solo and 6 months pregnant. I felt very safe and taken care of. The only down side is that people can smoke in the seating outside the restaurant and with the doors open your eating while breathing in second hand smoke. It’s a shame because it’s toxic for our health. They did offer to bring me my breakfast to my room( since I’m pregnant) but I also want to enjoy the restaurant. I think they should not allow smoking at the pools or restaurant for everyone’s health. Other than that I would go back 100% the staff made my week there amazing! Thank you Outrigger team! "Likes: - Friendly and efficient staff overall - Free on-premise (only) bicycle for each adult guest - Hotel transportation to private beach - Great view of lagoon - Privacy as this is a villa only property Improvements needed: - Brakes on most bicycles couldn't stop the bicycles (the property has lots of downward slopes) - need to use feet to stop on the narrow road to avoid incoming buggy cars - Waited ~20 minutes under the hot sun at the outdoor activities centre for the staff to arrive in order to get and use the hotel kayaks"

"We really enjoyed our stay here and didn’t want to leave! The resort is beautiful, always spotless and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially, one of the supervisors Benz, Sue in the Isla restaurant, and Pham in the spa! The location is right on the beach which was fantastic. Very glad we chose Amora for our trip."
