"Great"

"Ann and Colin were perfect hosts. So warm and friendly and even left a welcome basket full of thoughtful treats. Flat is so much better than the pictures portray. Spacious and equipped with everything you need for a stay in the area. Highly recommend. Very convenient for all the new forest walks. The grounds are delightful and the garden is stunning. Nice little area to sit and enjoy the sun. Although the flat is joined to the flat we felt we had privacy. Thanks again for a lovely stay....

"A cosy place to stay right bang in the centre with the cathedral a stone's throw away. Comfortable and easy to cook your own dinners or pop back for a cup of tea if it rains."

"Lovely apartment, very spacious, clean and everything you need. Plenty of quality towels and the kitchen has everything. Parking was excellent. A great pub near by and excellent Italian restaurants also. The town is small but has supermarkets nearby in a short walking distance"

"The cottage is more comfortable than I think and safe area,well functioning of kitchen appliances. If you can drive, you should have car because the schedule of public bus is not good."

"Very nice flat that is clean and spacious. Only issue is counter next to sink traps water in a pool that soaks everything on it. Room could also use a coffee maker. You also get to use the gym/pool next door and get a discount at the cafe there!"

"My partner and I spent a few days at Carol's beautiful home. She has created such a wonderful place to stay. We particularly loved the effort Carol has put into helping guests get out and explore the stunning local area with even small laminated cards with walking suggestions! Her knowledge and passion for this little piece of paradise is so evident. We will definitely be back for more beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Thanks again Carol for such a lovely time! "Relaxing"

"We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. We went out less than we normally would because it was a treat to be lazy there, especially as we’d splashed out on the hot tub. Beds were very comfortable and full marks for having curtains rather than the blinds 90% of holiday lets have, which do nothing to block out light for people who...

"We enjoyed our stay at Rose Barn and really appreciated the homemade bread and jams left for our breakfast which were delicious and such a thoughtful touch. "

"Cute property, great layout for 2 people, very quiet. It is a bit out of the center of things. Not a big deal in good weather but when pouring rain at night it is a slog. Groceries nearby, super friendly pub next door - but you don’t hear it in the flat. Motion detector lights out front go out very fast and the place could use a bit of refurbishing. But overall a pleasant stay!"
