The monkeys live on the islands within Lake Nicaragua. We were told that the monkeys like limes, so we tossed and handed cut limes to the monkeys. They squeezed the limes in their mouths and then rubbed the limes all over their bodies. They find it refreshing and they like the smell.

"Had a wonderful, relaxing stay! Beautiful property putting you in touch with nature. Our favorite was watching the howler monkeys in the trees. A perfect location to chill poolside as well as travel to other nearby sites and the city. I'd recommend a 4x4 vehicle for driving. Javier and Carmen were excellent care takers. I especially appreciate Joe taking the time to check-in on us."
