"The location of the property is quite remote but we knew this when we booked. Perfect tranquility! It is on the edge of a small village which is near to a small town with a direct rail link into. The property is beautifully kept to high standards in the most beautiful wooded location. "Such a pleasant surprise! Wanted to stay in a smaller town, and Gerswalde is pleasant walkable town, with a historic castle site a few blocks from the hotel. The restaurant was not open temporarliy, but the breakfast was wonderful; teated to home made jam, and fruit from the garden. Super friendly and helpful family run this quaint country hotel."
