"Great place to stay if you want to visit Pictured Rocks, or hike the trails by pictured Rocks....It's only a little over an hour away from Tahquamenom Falls too. The town of Munising is a very down home little community....Even though there are many tourists, the area doesn't seem like the classic " tourist trap type of place " Very Nice !!"

"Great place to stay while exploring Munising"

"Our stay at Furnace Overlook was fabulous! Location couldn’t have been better for Pictured Rocks and Munising restaurants and shops. One highlight of Furnace Overlook was coming back after a long day exploring to the refreshing and relaxing pool and look out over the lake. The pool was very clean and well maintained. On top of all this, great hosts who made sure we knew about all of the amenities to make our stay the best it could be! I hope to stay again! "
