Local eateries and transport services readily available. Do not expect iron to be delivered in your room in case you are! Friendly staff. Overall a good experience."

"Hotel is logistacally located by Leaning Tower of Pisa. Its clean and the room is spacious. No elevator but they carried our luggages up. Front desk very friendly and helpful. About a mile away from Pisa Centrale train station. Highly recommended."

"This is a lovely hotel, it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was large and comfortable, the room was clean with a large sky TV, coffee maker and air con. There was ample storage if you are staying more than 1 night and it is perfectly situated near to the railway station and approx. 25 min walk to the leaning tower. "

"Avoid at all cost! The location of this hotel is excellent and impossible to fault. It is central, with a lovely position on the river, making it ideal for exploring the area. The included breakfast was also a positive, with a good variety of options to suit different tastes. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. There was almost no protection from outside noise, and the street noise was constant, especially early in the morning when the street cleaners started. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and clearly not fit for purpose. Every movement caused the frame to creak loudly, which was hardly surprising given it appeared to be made from plywood. As a result, we had an awful night’s sleep and decided to check out after just one night and stay somewhere else. There was also no proper hot water. We only discovered this the following morning when we turned on the shower, and the water was barely lukewarm. The bathroom itself was in very poor condition, with missing tiles, obvious poor-quality repairs, and a bathtub that looked discoloured and unclean. The staff were pleasant on arrival, but much less helpful when we raised these issues at check-out. They suggested we should have reported them sooner, but the problems only became apparent late at night and the following morning. Whilst I understand this is an old hotel that has a nice charm, the basic standards of comfort and cleanliness were not met!"
