"I had a negative experience on the first day of my stay, but the rest of the stay was brilliant. The reception staff rushed through the check-in process and did not inform me about the pool and gym opening hours, so I missed my chance to exercise on the first day. When I later asked both the reception staff and the staff in the gym/pool area, I received conflicting information about the closing time, with a discrepancy of two hours. There were also quite a few grammar and spelling mistakes on the half-board menu, which led to some confusion when my order arrived. Some examples included “chocie” instead of “choice” and “leif” instead of “leaf”. The menu honestly needs to be completely rewritten and properly proofread for grammar and clarity, as it was generally quite difficult to read through. Unfortunately, I also had the chewiest steak I have ever eaten — it was difficult to bite through properly. On top of that, the waiter did not ask whether I wanted fries or roast potatoes and simply assumed I wanted fries, which I actually did not want. As a result, I ended up with a disappointing steak and nothing suitable on the side, which is not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel service. However, all of the seafood options, starters, and the breakfast buffet were delicious. On the positive side, the outdoor pool is beautifully maintained, with lovely flowers and relaxing music, while the indoor pool is excellent for swimming. Despite a few issues, I would still happily come"

"Such a lovely resort, first time staying in a Hilton in this location and they upgraded us to a family suite which was so spacious. The amenities and the spa facilities were all 10/10. Lots of places to eat food too. The only downside was that the service in one of the restaurants was really slow but they rectified that by offering a free dessert so it was a nice gesture. Highly recommend this place for couples and families"

"The entrance to the hotel is lovely. The rooms are standard. Lack of plugs, usb charging in the telephones which took overnight to charge my phone. Soundproofing wasn't the best either, needed a room change as was woken up at 7am but a constant banging for above our room. Staff was lovely. You have access to the free sundbeds on the beach although, they don't like you taking your own food and drink there as want you to purchase from their bar. Overall ok but didn't think it was worth the price"

"Great hotel, clean and friendly helpful staff. The disability amenities could be improved, the ramps are quite steep but the staff are always happy to assist. I found the shower difficult to access with a wheelchair. Excellent restaurant, great food. Overall I would recommend highly."

"If it says balcony, it may not be what’s in the pics. Felt super deceived. But unless it specifically says city view or pool view you have the back overlooking pipes with the smell of grease coming up and a generator. Complained. Was told complaint was prioritised. Never heard from them again. Despite there being other available cheaper rooms with views available online. Under the bed was dirty. There was a hair in the shower and the fridge. Ants in the foyer. Broken sundeck chair. Didn’t get a water bottle or remote for the air con. And my room got part cleaned but the dirty glasses were left inside. Which was confusing. USBC wall charger didn’t work. But after the balcony palava I was tired of complaining. And had wasted so much time on day 1 of 3 hoping for the room change. All in all a very basic stay. Do better. It has so much potential."

"Friendly staff. Helpful with luggage as place has no elevator. Good working airco. For hot water, ensure to put the boiler switch on. Location is perfect with a huge public parking lot in front of hotel. It’s right by the Mdina gate. "
