"What an awesome escape this place is.. you’re quickly away from the crowds enjoying your own balcony or the roof deck overlooking the ocean. Luca spoiled us and was always immediately responsive to questions via WhatsApp and provided very useful information for sightseeing and meals - all just steps away. The breakfast is excellent. We drove and the shuttle from Lumbi parking was quick and easy."

"The best thing about Casa Blandano is its location, location, location. Being in the heart of Castelmola allowed me to enjoy this peaceful, mountain top village in the early mornings and late evenings after all the day trip tourists have all disappeared. Castelmola is truly magical at night. My room at Casa Blandano was comfortable and gorgeous with a window that opens out to the Castelmola main plaza. The breakfast was good too. "The hotel is wonderful. Rooms (especially the ocean facing ones are beautiful with big balconies…note however you do lose sun in late afternoon) Breakfast very good, staff very attentive. A lovely pool area as well and proximity to beach is amazing just 20 steps. Parking is available and is good.(important for Sicily) The hotel could do with a paint job on outside but don’t let that put you off inside is great. The hotel would benefit from offering some kind of shuttle service to Taormina or even Lettojanni. As location is very isolated. 25-30 euros taxi ride to Taormina. Even lettojanni is a 30 min walk and bus connections to Taormina are sporadic and unreliable. Some kind of golf buggy service even at a charge for guests would be ideal. All in all superb place and would definitely stay again."

"We had a lovely stay with Caterina and Dario. They were very gracious and thoughtful hosts. We loved the fresh breakfasts every morning before we headed out for the day and the cozy beds when we returned at night. The B&B was right across the street from the beach and we spent each morning strolling the boardwalk to start our day. We were a short walk to the bus and train stations, making it convenient to get to Taormina. Tour companies picked us up directly from the B&B. Overall, it was a delightful location as a base for seeing the Mt Etna area."

Beautiful independent house, beach side, terrace with sea view

"We enjoyed our stay in Sicily and this house made it a pleasant experience. An electrical adapter is needed to charge your phone if coming from the USA. We enjoyed access to waters edge a short walk away. The cute town is fun to walk through and our restaurant fave was Fabianos."

"It was very pleasnt stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a shuttle which was very helpuful to go into the town. The pools are very clen. Acess to seaside from the hotel was great idea which allows swimming or walking by the beach."

"The property is a little bit out of the way, but in excellent shape, nice garden and a fantastic host. Nino is one of the best hosts that I have ever met, he gave us excellent information about the nearby sights including restaurant recommendations and shopping suggestions. It appears that Nino is willing to go the extra mile to satisfy his guests, including driving us at night to a near by restaurant that was hard to find."
