"The house was comfortable, clean with all the amenities. Dish network and wifi worked well. There is no cellular service though which I was happy with and was expected. The area is mountainous, with beautiful views and remote. You can hear yourself think, no noise, no traffic, no neighbors. Saw a grouse, a black bear and many deer. The night sky was the reason for the visit and we were not disappointed. The Milky Way could be seen from horizon to horizon. For those astronomically minded think...

"This was a great little place for the weekend. It is close to downtown and one can hear all the trains as they roll through, part of the charm of Staunton. The walking route to town was closed during our stay but that was no big deal. Its a two minute drive down the hill to anything one would like to experience. Lovely time!"
