"The room was not cleaned to high standard, the corners and edges in the shower room were dusty and stained. It’s a shame as the place is new and will depreciate quickly if not kept up to good standards. The room is really nice and a very comfortable bed, we slept so well. My partner loved the telly! Staff were fantastic, very helpful. Cannot fault them. Breakfast was disappointing, a lot of food but blunt and not inspiring! Car park is more expensive as compared to little hotels nearby costing only £5 a day."

"The hotel was in a good location near the harbour with good parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. They assisted with lack of water pressure in the shower by changing over the shower head, although this only marginally solved the problem. Good service was provided for breakfast. We had a lovely three night stay over looking the sea!"

"Lovely cottage with all the amenities , smell of honeysuckle was divine, great courtyard garden safe for the dog and it was a great quiet location with easy access to the beach that allowed dogs. The only complaint (a small one) was the brass bed that was squeaky - but comfortable) would recommend"

"We absolutely love The Cove and Osprey 3 was an excellent place to stay. They haven't used the space well to create the perfect base for exploring Devon. We were so blessed with the weather this time that we actually spent the majority of our time in the pool which was a welcome relief from the heat. Easy walk into Brixham. Local restaurants delivery. Good amenities in close driving distance."

"On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id suggest a pot of sauces on the table for breakfast as its "can we have, have you got" all the time. Tommy stood out as a fantastic member of staff always polite and worked very hard.always a pleasure. Thank you Our room was very cold at night no heating on except set times so pleased that we had a hot water bottle, but we both had to wear clothes to get warm. When spoke to other residents they said the same.(No phone in the room to call anyone) Room smelt musty so could do with maybe a freshener plug in? The bathroom needs a table or some shelves as there is nowhere to put your wash bags down apart from the floor, and im not a fan of that! There could do with maybe a few more hooks in the bathroom too. 1 on the door is not enough. The room was tired, needs a freshen up on the paint and wall paper, beds comfy, lots of wardrobe hanging spaces, mirrors. Enjoyed our stay. Reasonable price too. "

"Great house which we have stayed in before and enjoy so we returned! Easy to find the house and lovely views across the sea. Lovely social lounge area for all the guests to be able to relax and enjoy. The hot tub addition this year was great and works for the size of property. Lights down to hot tub - feels quite dangerous going down the steps in the dark. Check heating ahead of guests arrival in winter so it’s not cold. Fresh escapes were keen to work out how to resolve boiler issues. Furniture could be better arranged in the smallest room to make it more useable for two adults sharing."
