"Very nice, recently renovated little B&B though it is a bit remote, just a few little towns in the area so if you are looking for a quiet place this is it. The only difficulty, especially on a Sunday, was finding a place to eat........we had to drive and drive and drive before finding a place open in the off season. Otherwise it was great. The room was a decent size and very comfortable, it was nice to have a bed that didn't feel like plywood covered in cloth!"

"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour.
