We really enjoyed staying here. Host was very responsive, helpful and kind. The place was decorated really nice and there was a great balcony to relax on. We all slept great on the beds. Would stay here again!
This was our second stay at this property. Good location, easy to reach Cincinnati. Beautifully decorated. Great communication with property owner. Very satisfied, would definitely rent here again.
This place was completely amazing. It was so beautiful and the owner made the stay better with great little touches. It has great historic features along with modern conveniences. Wished we were staying longer. Hope to stay again. Absolutely loved this place.
Tastefully and professionally restored and decorated. Property was exactly as described on VRBO. Very roomy and comfortable. All amenities that helps make for a wonderful stay.
This was one of our best VRBO experiences. The unit was very spacious, clean and in a great location for our stay. The host was very responsive to our questions that we had both before and during our stay. Highly recommend.
The entire group was impressed with the decor, cleanliness and the architecture of the unit. Just a few miles to the ballpark and restaurants. It's a great place and we would use it again.
Great location for five senior citizens to make day trips to the Ark Encounter, the Air Force Museum in Dayton, and artisan shops in Cincinnati. Nicely refurbished and tastefully decorated apartment. Manageable on-street parking. Reasonably priced restaurants within a few miles. Safe, refinished steps to second floor. We would gladly stay here again.
The flat was impeccably clean and exactly as shown online! Amazing wooden floors, comfy beds and very tastefully decorated! We really loved staying here!
Liz even went out of her way to help us find a good place to get our car serviced! She’s a great host and I definitely would recommend staying in her beautiful home.
We stayed last summer in the apartment and were happy to return to visit family this year. The apartment is beautifully decorated and spacious. We slept so well in the comfortable beds and enjoyed morning coffee watching the birds on the treeline balcony. We look forward to coming back next year!
Our family of 5, stayed at this property for a nearby wedding. The space was perfect for our group with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed using the outside area. We had a glitch with the lock at check in but the owner was responsive and had the lock fixed. The neighborhood/street was a bit noisy at night but being in the area, that was expected. Parking was on the street and we had no problem getting a spot. Overall the stay was very good.
This is a classic old house decorated with taste. It has everything you need and was in walking distance of The Carnegie where we were doing some work. Lots of interesting restaurants around. Cool neighborhood. We even walked back over the bridge from Cincinnati all the way to the house.
The location is is nice and close to restaurants and stores. It is an upstairs apartment…which was not an issue for us. The apartment has been renovated but they kept the charm! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need! Surrounded by Magnolia trees that were in bloom. Very picturesque!
We flew to Cincinnati and rented a car to stay at the home in Covington Kentucky. We were blessed with a great hostess/property owner. The property was very clean and well stocked and our hostess was quick to respond to our requests for additional towels and advice on restaurants. We actually met our hostess and she was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Covington/Cincinnati area.
The apartment was just perfect! We met my father for a few days to visit the zoo and other attractions for a week and this was a perfect home base. Great appliances, stocked kitchen to meet our needs (we cooked quite a bit), and exceptionally clean. A lovely upgraded historic home. The stairs were wide and easy for my 80 dad. Good communication with the owner about street sweeping and where to park one night during the stay (common in any major city). The beds and linens were soft and comfortable. Easy access to I75 and Cincinnati. Will absolutely book again next time in the area.
Pro:
Very Clean.
Comfortable bed.
Beautiful home
Con:
Owner changed the code to get in without informing us.
Took awhile to get her phone # to call her.
Very urban area
My husband, myself, my mom, our adult daughter and her friend really enjoyed staying at this beautiful historic home. The home is exactly as pictured and our host made the entire process seamless and easy. Everything was spotless, the decor lovely, and everything we could possibly need was provided: coffee, oatmeal packets, well stocked kitchen with lots of dishes, glasses and utensils. Even the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was a quick trip across the river to get to our show Saturday night and our holiday food tour in Cincinnati on Sunday. We would definitely stay in this gorgeous home again!
The flat is a wonderful blend of the best of past and present. Antique furnishings and features in the living and sleeping areas are complemented by attractive modern accents. Everything we needed was available in the fully remodeled kitchen. The flat is on a busy corner, but the street noise is a minor inconvenience. We were able to walk across the Roebling Bridge to Cincinnati and enjoy the city. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend this property.
