A stunning old inn, clean and beautifully refurbished. Quiet, with a fabulous restaurant, charming lounge rooms, hot showers, spacious rooms, and really friendly and accommodating staff - Alex was exceptional. Not sure how accessible it is for someone who has difficulty with stairs - so maybe check with the venue if that might be a problem for you (perhaps they have ground floor rooms??). We intended to stay one night but stayed two because it was so comfortable. Loved it. Expedia had the best prices.
Wonderful weekend away in this luxury hotel. Superb, helpful staff. Very conveniently located to Cirencester town centre. set in a peaceful area & attached to a fantastic restaurant & bar.
Beautiful rooms and building, friendly staff and a five minute walk from central Cirencester

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
More like a BnB than a hotel. Clean and reasonably well designed but limited by the structure of the building. Heating controls unclear and TV remote hidden behind the TV. Clicking noise all night and staff in the adjoining service room early in the morning. Friendly staff and nic breakfast. Restaurant fully booked!!
Excellent room. Bath was amazing. Book a table for the bar if you want to listen to pianist Fri/Sat as locals do this as its a small area. Food was very good.
Lovely spot. A few hiccups with room being very hot and no coffee in the room even though there was a machine. Staff was very helpful and restaurant was very good as well
Beautiful property & rooms. We got tickets to see The Three Musketeers next door which was playing per the recommendations of the lady working at the pub across from the Kemble rail station on our arrival. It was a top notch performance in an intimate setting & now we would recommend if you are staying in the area don’t miss staying in this gorgeous hotel & definitely go to a play!!
The facility is very stylishly decorated and quiet.
There is no problem with parking. There is a park right across from the hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The employees are friendly
Lovely hotel with welcoming staff. The room was tastefully decorated and felt luxurious, it was however very hot with an underpowered fan - that would be my only criticism of the room. Breakfast was a touch dissapointing, mostly because we didnt get to have it - the menu looked lovely but staff shortages meant the wait was very long and so we were given a refund for our breakfast element of the stay, which is reasonable. We didnt use the restaurant but it was busy with local patrons and the bar was nice also so a good sign!
What a great find. A Manor House, beautifully furnished with the rarity of a guest lounge. I stayed in room 5 which had everything you could possibly desire in a hotel room: space, comfy bed, full length mirror, decent tv, coffee machine, fresh milk, huge bottle of chilled water, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, easy to use thermostat, opening windows and well equipped bathroom with toiletries and fluffy towels. Newsletter on desk gives you all the information you need while at the hotel including menu for the attached restaurant (which I didn’t have time to sample). Public car park opposite is free from 6pm to 8am. Lovely welcome from lady in reception who helped me with bags to the room .., there are no lifts (only downside I can find!). I will be back.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We arrived there was no one at the desk, called and no answer. We did find someone after 15 minutes, the staff are nice but not chatty. Then there was foundation stains on the information sheet and a fake eyelash attached too which was pretty grim. No soap in the bathroom, the shower was lovely however. The fridge had a bit of mould in and was dirty. The cups were clean luckily, so you can enjoy a nice coffee from the machine with complimentary opened milk. The bed was lumpy and you cannot open the windows as they’re sealed shut. The room decor is pretty and relaxing to chill in but this is your bog standard average hotel basically.
If you are visiting Cirencester, this is an amazing place to stay. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, I stayed in one of their deluxe rooms and it was amazing.
They have a great restaurant and bar attached to hotel and the outdoor area is peaceful and relaxing. The piano bar on Friday Saturday nights is great entertainment! The staff are really friendly but not intrusive.
Location is perfect, walk into city center in 10 mins and easy driving access to any POI.
Definitely come back if I was in area.
The location is really
The pictures look nice but the room was not good. Damp coming through the paint, enormous but chilly bathroom, lots of dust, windows that feel dirty to touch etc. Overpriced for the quality.
