This boutique hotel perched atop the mountain is the definition of charm and excellence. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond, welcoming us with genuine warmth and care. Despite our late arrival, the restaurant stayed open until 11 PM just to make sure we were fed — and the food was absolutely exceptional. The menu was creative and top-notch, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and paired with a delightful selection of wines. The rooms were modern, spacious, and beautifully designed, featuring large showers and high-end toiletries with intricate detail. Every comfort had been considered. The service throughout our stay was impeccable, blending professionalism with a truly personal touch. The location is ideal — close to Milan and just a short drive from Lake Como, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. "From beginning to end - i could not have asked for a more friendly, welcoming host. Communication was fantastic and despite our very delayed late arrival - the lovely angy met us personally and welcomed us. This is a delightful rustic agriturismo up in the hills near galbiate. A friendly family run accommodation that unfortunately was hit hard during covid and are slowly building back up to full business again. They very kindly upgraded us to the larger room complete with mini kitchen (fridge, sink, cooking hob, cleaning products and glasses/ crockery/utensils). A very welcome addition of 2 bottles of water were in the fridge when we arrived. It was very warm and we needed the fan they provided to keep us cool. The room had a huge bed as well as a large sofa bed so could potentially hold 4 guests. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings having a glass of wine and a snack listening to the cicadas and watching the sun set behind the trees. The peace we felt from we arrived whilst on site was lovely. We were very interested in learning more about the history of the property and the family very kindly provided us with some info that cannot be found online. We opted to have breakfast on our final morning in the large restaurant situated below the converted hay barn which consisted of fresh continental style breakfast, coffee and ruby orange juice. We had the opportunity to speak with more of the family who were incredibly friendly and could not do enough"

"We absolutely loved our stay at La Sosta. You can tell Ezio and Angela truly care about hospitality. Their hearts are in this place and you can see it. The property is absolutely stunning, rooms are no fuss exactly what you need and the restaurant on site is absolutely charming and delicious. Location was perfect for us as it was close to the activities (wedding ) and close enough to Lecco for shopping, ferries etc. We did have a car and it was perfect to come and go during our trip. Would absolutely stay again!! "

"I liked the large accommodation with kitchenet, large bed, balcony and other amenities. Perfect for a long stay Great breakfast variety The efficiency and friendliness of the Staff is to be commended. Sadly, I could only stay one night but "I will be back!" The AC unit in the center of the room is a little noisy. "

"Very nice hotel in beautiful mountain village. Tortuous narrow and bendy road for about 20 km to hotel that took approx 1 hour to traverse. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Beautiful breakfast with lots of choice- cold options only. Staff friendly and efficient. Only minus was no air conditioning in the room. Fabulous value for money. "

"Lovely welcome, the hosts are so friendly and very helpful providing local information to guests. Views from the hotel are great! Breakfast was served fresh in a buffet style. Fresh bread baked each morning was really lovely! Room was clean and comfortable. Quite a walk up the hill to the hotel but the views at the top are worth the climb! "
