The proximity of Shamrock Inn to the downtown area makes this a great location. You will want to visit the downtown. The room is nice, clean, cool and whimsically decorated, not the same old hotel decor. I’m definitely coming back to Shamrock Inn!"

"This was a classic, old fashioned roadside motel. The grounds were perfectly clean and welcoming. The room was cozy and homey, the shower lovely and hot. I'm deeply grateful that it used an old fashioned room key, not a key card, since I had to go back for an item I'd forgotten, and was able to get back in... I would have liked a coffee maker and cups, but I know that those are items which often disappear. The guest in the room next door came in a bit late and, while I don't think they were...

"Loved the cottage setting & cleanliness but disappointed there was no blankets, only sheets on bed, no one sleeps with bedspread, and lovely stovetop & refrigerator but NO coffee pot, No dishes or utensils nor pots & pans?? Didnt make sense to us & hence we had to eat out all weekend. But the staff were very nice. Lastly, no late check out available, gave us 45 minutes extra when asking, never experienced that before"
