"We stayed at this hotel prior to boarding our cruise in Trieste. Great location. Walking distance to main attractions and restaurants in Trieste. The staff are very attentive and accommodating. It was a very chaotic morning with many people looking for taxis and the staff were amazing and professional. The only complaint we had was the size of the showers. They were tiny! Would stay here again without question."

"This hotel was a wonderful place to stay especially if you are on a cruise because of the close proximity to the port we just rolled our bags over. The food is wonderful although simple for breakfast and the front desk people are full of helpful suggestions for pasta laces to eat. The only problem we had was the a/c had not been turned on yet in Mid May and with windows open and a fan in the room it was very difficult to sleep. The bed was comfortable but too humid for a good nights sleep"

"First of all check-in to this hotel (Lucija) is at 3.00PM and not at 2.00PM as it is wrongly written at your agency! I have some issues at hotel regarding your check-in time - I needed to wait one hour and half longer! The air conditioner in the room is in very poor condition as it cannot cool the room. As a result, it was very hot in the room, the room is facing west and is in the hot sun all afternoon, so we opened the balcony door in the evening...

People in the hospitality business no longer listen nor care at all their customers. They prefer to lose a good customer than resolve the situation. "From the check-in to check-out, every single experience was amazing. All the staff was super kind, they made us feel so welcom and happy. They helped us to early check in and show the room as well.
